Kristen Waksberg is passionate about real estate. A 25-year resident of the Washington metropolitan area, she guides clients through DC’s competitive and complex real estate market with intelligence, competence, and boundless energy. Kristen has lived around the Beltway – in downtown DC, the Virginia suburbs, and Potomac, Maryland -- and draws from her knowledge of the metro area in advising buyers and sellers. An enthusiastic advocate, she is relentless in working to meet her clients’ needs, with quick wit and humor to ease the most stressful moments.
Kristen specializes in Montgomery County and Frederick County real estate.
Prior to becoming a Realtor, Kristen held management positions in business-to-business marketing, fundraising, and consumer marketing at The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, The League of Women Voters, and America Online.
Kristen is also active in a variety of community causes. She has served as a member of the board of directors for The Fulfillment Management Association of Washington and The Parents Council of Washington; the alumni board of the University of Mary Washington; and the board of trustees of The Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences. She is currently an at-large member of the board of directors for The Parent Encouragement Program (PEP). Kristen lives in Potomac, Maryland with her husband, Mark, and their children, Ben and Gaby. She enjoys spending time with her family -- biking along the C & O Canal or hiking the trails of her neighborhood, River's Edge. Always on the go, Kristen lives life with passion.
